Tarik N. Church is the chief executive officer (CEO), founder (2019), and lead strength & conditioning specialist at BODYDELTA “Restorative Fitness & Physical Training”, operating in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. He was born in Rapid City, South Dakota and is one of two sons to military retirees Robert A. Church and Janie M. Church: his younger brother is Hasani S. Church.

Both of his parents served honorably in the military: they instilled discipline, confidence, and responsibility into Tarik's character. Moral pillars such as these reside at the core of  BODYDELTA.

Tarik is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the National Athletic Training Association(NATA), and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He received his Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine at Armstrong State University: he was one of the first graduate assistant Athletic Trainers to graduate from the program. At Armstrong, Tarik provided care for the women’s soccer/tennis teams, and the men’s tennis team. In 2012, he helped the women’s soccer program reach the Division II Final Four and Elite Eight Games.

Previously, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training at Florida Southern College. During his senior year (2010-2011), Tarik completed an internship with the Auburn University Football Team. Ultimately, the team went undefeated that year, and won the NCAA Division I Collegiate Football Championship: this led to Tarik receiving a championship ring.

Tarik is highly competent in fitness and physical rehabilitative services. He's currently affiliated with the Florida Orthopedic Institute Physical Therapy Department. Moreover, he serves as an advisor for the Keiser University Sports Medicine Advisory Board.

Finally, Tarik is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo, and a fitness enthusiast himself. Please feel free to contact Tarik at tchurch@bodydelta.com.
